What happens in a coaching session?
A coaching session is for discovery and planning. I will ask relevant open ended questions based on the clients goals and needs for that session. The goals can be new or carry over from prior discussions. The client (YOU) leads the session based on what you would like to achieve, and I will facilitate the process of reaching those goals. An action plan is developed by you with my support. With your permission I (the coach) can be used for accountability related to the action plans defined. You and I, as the client and coach, can celebrate successes and discuss hurdles that may be encountered along the way.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes long and it is recommended that the client and coach meet regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) for a period of 2-3 months for best results. I will always be available in business hours for text or email consultations related to your coaching process and goals.
Where do session take place?
Sessions are typically scheduled for video calls but can be by phone or in person if preferred and practical for all parties.
What about confidentiality?
Professional coaching services are governed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics that requires safeguarding each clients privacy by upholding confidentiality in all matters discussed in the private sessions. When you sign on as a client, you will sign a contract that outlines the confidentiality agreement.
